BYC DOCK RULES

1. Boats are granted three days soak-up time immediately after initial launch.

2. Boats launched within three days of a social will not be granted soak-up   
time, which supersedes Rule # 1.

3. Boats requiring MAJOR repairs may be placed on the inside of the south
floats for a maximum of seven days. An officer of the club is to be notified
when this provision is used.

4. With the exception of one and two above, no unattended boats are to be left
on the floats between 12:00 hours Friday and 21:00 hours Sunday.

5. When the floats are full the “first on first off” rule will apply. Boats are to be
prepared to get under way within fifteen minutes of the next arriving boat.

6. The gas dock is defined by the yellow line on the floats. The gas dock is ONLY
To be used for fueling and the Loading/ unloading of passengers.

7. Boats may be left on the floats during the week for a MAXIMUM OF 48 HOURS
PER WEEK beginning 21:00 hours Sunday to 12:00 hours Friday.

8. A two dollar per day fee shall be paid for the use of electric facilities for air
conditioners/heaters/hot water heaters.

9. Boats visiting from other clubs will be extended dock privileges subject to these
rules.

10. The taxi boat is for use by members, spouses and junior members for taxi
purposes only. The taxi boat will not be kept from the dock for more than fifteen
minutes at a time.

11. The Commodore shall be exempt from these rules, except the Commodore’s boat
will dock on the inside of the dock.

12. A fine of $25 per day shall be levied by the Board of Directors for violations, as
governed by the bylaws.

13. Children under 12 must wear a Life Jacket and be accompanied by an adult.

14. All watercraft shall maintain “NO WAKE” within 100’ of the docks. No
swimming or fishing is permitted from the docks.

15. The above rules may be superseded by the Board for special events of the club.
